REA DIDYMOTEICHO -TEAM OF BALKAN CATCHBALL CUP 2023

     REA DIDYMOTEICHO

HISTORY: The third team that Pythia SCE created in Greece, is REA DIDYMOTEICHO. It is the newest team that was created in Didymoteicho, after our presentation there. Coatch of the team is Christos Gatsioudis and Captain of the team is Dimitra Tasidou.

GAMES: The team consists of 10 players. They will have their debut in the 1st Balkan Catchball Cup. Next plans for the future is to participate in European Cup in Kavala Greece and next year in Eilat in Israel.

 SIMONA - ROMANIA - TEAM OF BALKAN CATCHBALL CUP 2023

HISTORY:Simona is a girl’s name with Hebrew origins. This beautiful name means to “hear” and to “listen”. It’s these two essential characteristics that enable their team to have a lot of fun playing catchball, creating and sharing memorables. Simona team was born in 2018 and ever since, it has been constantly growing with joining girls aged between 18+ and more.

GAMES: Simona's captain was rewarded with the best attacking player award in 2023, while the team ranked 3rd in the Romanian Catchball league, in 2023. Simona is a team with a pleasant atmosphere all times, but animated by the common desire to share and to improve each one's skills in catchball, a sport that brinks us together for competitions and in everyday life. Next plans for the future is to participate in European Cup in Kavala Greece and next year in Eilat in Israel.

HISTORY:

The CORA team is made up of the company's employees who want to feel the emotions and adrenaline of the competition. They have been in this sport since 2019 and they have participated in all competitions organized in the country since 2019 until now.

GAMES: Cora team rank in the 3rd place obtained at the Summer tournament in Constanta in 2022. Next plans for the future is to participate in European Cup in Kavala Greece and next year in Eilat in Israel.

     BUM BUM TUNARI - ROMANIA

HISTORY: The Bum Bum Tunari catchball team was founded in 2019 by its coach, Laura Ionescu, and has 18 players. The desire to exercise, socialize, the spirit of competition and fair play are some of the things that united and motivated us, thus becoming one of the strongest teams in the country. They join the Balkan Cup with 2 teaams, Bum Bum Tunari Alfa and Bum Bum Tunari Omega.

GAMES: Bum Bum Tunari is in the first place of Catchball Championship 2023 in Romania. Team has participated in tournaments in Bucarest and Brasov in Romania, the last two years. Next plans for the future is to participate in European Cup in Kavala Greece and next year in Eilat in Israel.
