REA DIDYMOTEICHO -TEAM OF EUROPEAN CATCHBALL CUP 2023

     REA DIDYMOTEICHO

HISTORY: The third team that Pythia SCE created in Greece, is REA DIDYMOTEICHO. It is the newest team that was created in Didymoteicho, after our presentation there. Coatch of the team is Christos Gatsioudis and Captain of the team is Dimitra Tasidou.

GAMES: The team consists of 10 players. They already participated in the 1st Balkan Catchball Cup. Now they will participate in European Cup in Kavala Greece and next year in Eilat in Israel.

IRIDA SOUFLI 1 & 2 - TEAMS OF EUROPEAN CATCHBALL CUP 2023

     IRIDA SOUFLI I & II 

HISTORY: The first team that Pythia SCE created in Greece on summer 2022, is IRIDA SOUFLI. Mix team consist of women from Soufli, Didimoteicho and Orestiada. Team representative is Anna Gkaidatzi. Coach of the team is Athanasios Kavazis. Assistant Coach is Nikolaos Gkaidatzis.

GAMES: The team consists of 18 players. Ages are varied between 20 and 50 years old. IRIDA Soufli was the model team that demonstrates the game in Nikisiani Kavalas, during the European Week of Sports, Fall of 2022, after invitation of the Municipal of Paggaiou. Next stop was Nea Visa in Municipal of Orestiada and Didymoteicho, Spring of 2023.

Team has participated in tournaments in Bucarest and Brasov in Romania, the last two years. Now they will participate in European Cup in Kavala Greece and next year in Eilat in Israel.

     PYTHIA INTERNATIONAL - Host Team of 2nd European Catchball Cup 2023

HISTORY: The second team that Pythia SCE created in Kavala after Pythia Paggaiou, is PYTHIA INTERNATIONAL. They are trained in the same area with Pythia Paggaiou. The team was named after the supporter that is PYTHIA Social Cooperative Enterprise, based in Municipal of Paggaio. 

GAMES: The team consists of 8 players.It is the first time that the team will participate in games and now they will participate in European Catchball Cup in Kavala as one of the Greek representatives.

Next plans for the future is to participate in Eilat in Israel.

PYTHIA PAGGAIOU -TEAM OF 2nd EUROPEAN CATCHBALL CUP 2023

     PYTHIA PAGGAIO - Host Team of 2nd European Catchball Cup 2023

HISTORY: The second team that Pythia SCE created in Greece, is PYTHIA PAGGAIO. Pythia was the chosen oracle of God Apollo. It was more a tittle than a person. The team was named after the supporter that is PYTHIA Social Cooperative Enterprise, based in Municipal of Paggaio. 

GAMES: The team consists of 8 players. They had their debut in the 1st Balkan Catchball Cup and now they will participate in European Catchball Cup in Kavala as one of the Greek representatives.

Next plans for the future is to participate in Eilat in Israel.
